There are two types of stresses. The first is work-related. The second is environment-related.
Work-related stress can be detrimental to your health if you don't know how to deal with it. You need the job but you can't seem to cope with the pressure. So learn how to calm yourself. Take frequent breaks from your work. You need to examine your situation. Scale down your problems to size. Ask yourself what is the best way to handle your present stress. Do not panic. Remind yourself there is a solution and look for it. Do not ignore the problem. If you think clearly, you will find the solution.
Environment-related stress is common to lots of people. They have learned that you can overcome any threatening situation by putting your mind to it. Again, do not panic. See that in any difficult situation, there is an equivalent opportunity if you look deep enough. Calm down and get the best solution. If you think clearly, you will 'get it'.
Stay out of sticky situations by prayers and faith. You can do it!

Good Food for Diabetics
Diabetics need special diets in order not to worsen their conditions. They need to take their food in small amounts at controlled intervals. They need to cut down on sugar and salt. Besides that they also need to lower their cholesterol intake. Instead of whole milk and butter, they can use skim milk or olive oil.
Seasoning without salt.
Examples of breakfast for diabetics:
One fruit
A cut of Salmon
Wholemeal bread
Examples of lunch for diabetics:
Vegetables
pasta
Egg white
Examples of dinner for diabetics:
potato
Salad
grilled fish
So remember,
i.a portion of carb and a portion of protein with each meal.
ii.Vegetables in at least 2 meals
iii.1 tablespoon of oils
Fruit plus protein: a meal

The Significance of Water in Your Life
One of the greatest recent discoveries concerning health is that the humble water can heal many of your ailments. Just look at the following list of common diseases and you will see the general trend of how all of them get started.
- Diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is caused by dehydration. Shortage of water causes the pancreas to stop manufacturing insulin. This causes disruption of the body’s metabolism which can lead to the damage of vital organs.
- Headaches and migraines. Since about 85% of brain cells consists of water, dehydration causes less blood flow to the brain, thus causing the headache. Drinking more water can quickly alleviate this malady.
- Stress and depression. When one becomes dehydrated, the brain electrical energy is disrupted, strong hormones such as prolactin, cortisons,endorphines and vasopressin are secreted and stress is thereby produced.
- High Blood Pressure. When the normal composition of blood changes due to dehydration, the aperture openings of blood vessels become smaller. The heart then needs to pump the blood harder thus causing High Blood Pressure.
- Excess body weight. A good practice is to drink a glass of water before your meals. If you don’t, your appetite might mistaken ‘thirst’ with ‘hunger’ and you will end up eating more than you should.
- Asthma. It has been discovered that dehydration causes the increased production of histamine in the lung. This excess histamine causes bronchial constriction, which is the body’s natural defence against further loss of water.
- Cancer. Shortage of water or drinking contaminated water can cause the production of cancer cells.

It has been shown that you need to drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water everyday. Never let your body become dehydrated. If you are a regular coffee drinker, try not to drink more than a cup a day. The next time you feel thirsty, go for a glass of water instead. Your health will improve and hopefully your clarity of thought will,too.
